In the field our great passion, MUSIC,
we offer several courses and the possibility of coaching.
All these music courses are conducted an the coaching is given by Francien Meuwissen.
Francien studied at the "Brabants Conservatorium" the recorder,
choral conducting and singing and has given several concerts on
stages throughout Europe. Furthermore she has worked as a
teacher of music at several music schools in the Netherlands and
music academies in Belgium. As a conductor she led several
choirs in the Netherlands and Belgium.
General information Al courses start on Saturday evening at
19:30 with a communal meal. After a week we say farewell at
Saturday morning after breakfast.
The price includes a room shared with one or two others, all
meals, the course and the scores.
As every week is concluded with at least one concert, we ask all
participants to study their part, that will be send to them in
advance, at home, so we quickly get round to making music.
At the admittance to each course not only the order of
registration is important, but also the division over the
different voices.
We reserve the right to cancel the course till at the latest six
weeks before the start, if there is a disproportionate or
insufficient enrolment.

INTERPRETRATION COURSE
ITALIAN RENAISSANCE MUSIC WITH MARCO BEASLEY AND STEFANO ROCCO From monday 04 july till
monday 11 july 2022, Marco
Beasley and his regular lutenist, Stefano Rocco, are coming
again to
Casa I Fortunelli for an interpretation course on Italian
renaissance music. During this course Marco will focus on the
interpretation of frottole (popular songs of renaissance Italy).
Renowned for his narrative style of singing and his passion for
literature, he will always start working on a piece of music
from the text. The course is intended for
professional singers and advanced amateurs. Each participant
chooses and prepares two pieces from the shortlist:
Monteverdi
Si dolc'è il tormento Merula
Foll'è ben Landi
L'Augellin Sances
Stabat Mater Caccini
Amarilli Caccini
Ch'io non t'ami
Furthermore each participant
can prepare one or two songs wich can be drawn

COACHING OF CHOIRS OR ENSEMBLES For choirs and ensembles which are in need of a fresh look
from the outside we offer the possibility of coaching. This
coaching can for example relate to the finishing touches of a
program, a new style or getting a nice balance within a group.
Make your questions and wishes known to us, and we will try to
offer you a project adjusted to those wishes.
